What This Programme Delivers

This is an improved subsidy programme for Milk and Mango farmers. The County issues farmers affiliated to Cooperatives the Inua Mkulima Card, which is loaded with sh2,400 every three months. Framers can redeem the cash for various services and products. The County Government has partnered with Amica Sacco and Cooperative Banks for this Programme.

Key Benefits

The Inua Mkulima Card can be redeemed for: 1. Farm Inputs e.g. Seedlings, Animal Feed and Mineral Salts. 2. Food studd e.g. rice, maize and wheat flour, and cooking fat. 3. School fees to public secondary schools within the County who hold a Cooperative Bank Account. 4. Payment of Hospital Charges (SHIF) as from July 2024.
