What This Programme Delivers

The County Government registered and verified 57,975 farmers for the distribution of hybrid maize and fertilizer.
The maize seed and fertilizer were sourced from national institutions, including Simlaw Seeds and the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KARLO)
Each farmer received 2kg of maize seeds and 8kg of top-dressing fertilizer.
The maize seeds came in various varieties, tailored to suit the different climatic zones within the county.
